iOS 5 / 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak : iPhone 4S Cache Issue Solved By Pod2g With The Help Of Saurik

We have got some good news on the iOS 5.0 / 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak tool for iPhone 4S, 4, 3GS, iPad 2, 1 and iPod Touch folks !. Yesterday we got an update from the jailbreak guru pod2g that he is facing a A5 processor cache issue.

So we obviously thought it will delay the untethered jailbreak for some time but he also mentioned he will give an update today and yeah he has kept his promise, while ago, pod2g on his blog has mentioned that iPhone 4S cache issue is solved thanks to Saurik (Father of Cydia)…

I discussed with @saurik today about the launchd boot process, and he’s found one missing piece of the puzzle I needed to have a perfectly stable jailbreak. He’s definitly one of the best iOS gurus out there. Thank you saurik!
